Early last summer, I was on a conference call when my daughter ran in yelling, "Dad, a tornado!" Lucky the person on the other end was originally from here and understood the urgency of the matter. I grab the camera and for the next 15-20 minutes we watched as the twister blow by. It was pretty exciting seeing a storm up close and personal, yet not too close for danger. I have never seen a funnel cloud that close (actually never seen a tornado at all), so it was very interesting to watch and see how it behaved. So the following video is some of the footage that we captured that hot summer day in the summer of 2012.
